hello hello
not been updating but not been busy either actually. so ive been a really pig this week. i woke up at after 11 every day although the night before i told myself i'll wake up early! so anyways, this week has been quite a bore.
on tuesday went to the airport to send mya off to australia then ate at the mac there for a while. and smth really really funny happened. my little cousin kira wanted to buy some meal. i had a few of those $1 mac vouchers. she saw them and wanted one. when the elder cousins were seated she was already at the counter. after a while she was back with us but without food. then she told us this: "eh just now i very paiseh you know. i gave the person this[the voucher] and he said $2.95 more please." we exchanged glances and burst out laughing while pointing out the huge $1 written in the middle. such a slenge! haha.
so then wednesday went to watch pillowman!! it was nice lah. like really twisted and sick lah the stories. and the writers name was funny. and the whole show was funny. there was this guy laughing like really outloud at inappropriate times. but after the break i think he was ushered out or smth. haha.
been stuck at home since. today i made brownies!!! yay! though i dont find it to be as nice as my moms. :( oh well. maybe next time. so i think i need to go out. but i dont want to shop or really spend. cause i havent gotten a job and i want to truly shop in bangkok!. btw im flying off on wednesday!. cant wait cause it will be the first time i fly without an adult.

so yea that bit is pretty boring. but there were a couple of interesting stuff in the berita harian today. for the benefit of non-beritaharian readers i'll write abt it. the first one was on the news as well. its abt this guy in bandung who was nicknamed Treeman. why? because he had smth growing out of both his feet and both his arms as well as some one his face. and it really looks just like the roots to a tree. really pitiful. when i first read the headings [Treeman wants to be cured] i thought he was some experiment gone wrong. but no he wasnt. he became like that because of infections of a wound. really sad because if you saw the picture, you would see that its really near impossible to even do simple daily routines with such big hands and no fingers.
another story i read really really really shocked me. its abt a bad bad mistake a doctor in malaysia did. ofcourse doctors being humans will make mistakes. but this? its abit more than just a mistake. its like this, a women who just had a surgery in the tummy to remove the womb i think- its in malay so i dont know exactly what it was she removed. over a month later she visits a doctor because she was suffering from pains in her stomach. it was so bad her family forced her to get an x-ray. the result was truly a shocker. read this carefully: there was a 20cm long surgical scissors in her stomach. yes. that means the surgeons who operated on her earlier had accidentally left behind smth. it was soo bad they had to remove a bit of her small intestine that was damaged by the scissors. my question is: after realising a scissors is missing after a surgery where you cut up and sew back a patient, dont you have the decency to ask the patient if their okay? i pity the patient because she hasnt recovered from an operation but has to undergo another surgery that is totally uncalled for.

and i think that is a really long and draggy post. the next time i have nth to write i think i'll skip the part where my life is boring and write abt interesting happenings around the world you can find in newspapers (: hehe.
